BAIT AND SWITCH FOR SEPT IPHONE 14 TRADE IN PROMOTION

I am a new Verizon customer and ported in 3 new numbers on the up to $1,000 trade-in for 3 new iPhone 14 and 14 Pro via Verizon online customer service. I found out today that my trade-ins are not recorded and have to pay full amount for each phone. Has anyone experienced this issue?  

I saved screen shots of the chat to make sure that I have had proof of the trade-in order request but Verizon is not interested in seeing it. One customer service rep asked that I resolve by going to a Verizon store and another recommended that I mail in the trade-in first and they will change the status to a trade-in for all three phones. I am weary just ship the 3 phones to Verizon without any further confirmation that I will receive the trade in value that I signed up for. There is another thread about Verizon reducing trade-in value as well.

Can anyone provide best way to resolve this? This seems like a bait and switch tactic as no one that I spoke to at customer service can do anything about it nor confirm anything. Received a lot of "if you do this, we can try..." 

I am hoping that Verizon can be better than their competition.
