We just started with Verizon, ordering phones Jan. 3 and picking them up Jan. 4th.
We got 5 phones, and with auto pay, should be $30 per month, so $150 total.
We got 4 Moto z4s for $5 per month (bought online), so $20 more per month.
We got 1 Samsung A50 for $10 per month.
We got Smart Family for $4.99 per month.
This should total $184.99. And I "get" the hidden fees, and the taxes. But when I look online, even after paying the initial $100 activation fee, it claims our monthly bill will end up being, eventually (!!), $258.14 per month. How did it escalate from $184.99 to $258.14 per month?? We have a couple more days to consider cancelling it all...unless this can be clarified.
After going in store, calling, being called, and chatting with live agents, I have gotten so many different quotes on what we pay initially, what we will pay in two parts in February, and then each time, I go and check my online account and it is different. I have absolutely NO confidence in their billing.
And we ONLY went to Verizon for the Smart Family--and found that our kids can still be on all night if they choose to because they can switch to WiFi calling and bypass the locks.

Your first bill includes a partial month service charge and a full month of service as we bill a month in advance. Additionally, your first bill includes one-time charges like activation charge for each line of service. You can learn more about your first bill on number 2 at this link (https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/view-bill-online-faqs/).
You can also review your charges line by line if you review a copy of your paper bill. You can see a copy of your paper bill right on your phone with the My Verizon application (https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/new-my-verizon-app-faqs/). Open the application > tap Menu> tap Bill > tap History tab > tap on the bill of your choice > tap on the View PDF link under "Check out your bill as a PDF".
