The last 2 months I have tried to call Verizon regarding charges on my account before I paid it. The IVR will not give you an option to talk to someone. It just goes back to tell you how much to pay. It eventually hangs up on you. I ended up having to pay. Once I had done that when you call it it allows you to speak with someone.
This is WRONG!! A consumer has a right to discuss before they pay. I will be filing a compliant with the FTC, CFPB and BBB.
has anyone else experienced this situation?
The few times i've had this happen to me i hung up and dialed *67 611 and pressed the option of new customer and as soon as they pick up the phone you tell them your info and whatever issue you have gets taken care of.
