Can I make wifi calls back to US without incurring daily TravelPass charge?  Will incoming texts or unanswered phone calls generate a TravelPass charge for usage for the day? Thanks

Any calls or text messages sent over wifi won't trigger the Travel Pass daily charge.

No I wouldn't do it. I was stuck out of the country when I was told by Verizon my service would work. I was in a very dangerous situation with no phone service.
