I need help with regard to my phone, this device is in my boss' account so basically all i do is give her my monthly payment and she does the payment for her whole account. Is there a way that i can transfer this device to another account without penalty? Im planning to open up my own account so i can do the transfer if ever. What do i need to open up an account?

Yes, you and your boss just need to fill out an assumption of liability.

You must pass a credit check so the account can be in your name.

Thank you for reaching out to us with this concern. You certainly may transfer your number to a separate account in your name. This process is called Assumption of Liability (AOL). We have a team of specialists dedicated to assisting customers with AOL and you may contact them by calling 888-832-4540. They will carefully explain and walk you through the process. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
