So when I spend an inordinate amount of money on a new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G phone and cannot remove obnoxious prompts from my voicemail, I then try Verizon. Verizon is also challenged trying to do this. Why does voicemail come with these outdated (antiquated?!), unnecessary, long-winded prompts? When someone calls my voicemail, they get my personal greeting: "Hi, this is Laurie Reminga with Greenridge Realty. Please leave a message." After that, this obnoxious, time-consuming, automated voice says: "At the tone, please record your message. When you're finished recording, you may hang up or press 1 for more options. To send a fax, press 4 now." People? I have been a realtor for 7 years and NEVER once sent or received a fax! Not kidding! It is all scan and email. Also? Does anyone need to be told to leave a message? I am pretty sure after having cell phones since the 90's we all know how to leave a message! And, again, sending a fax? lol! What is wrong with these phone companies that they can't join cyberspace and the year 2020?
