I purchased a prepaid 4G Verizon phone and paid for a months service ($50+). The time ran out on it a couple of days ago. I went to put it on my post paid account to replace a phone I have now. It says it's not compatible. What is going on?
How exciting that you are looking to activate a prepaid device on postpaid service. Yes, you can, however, for 60 days from the original activation date the prepaid phone may only be used with Verizon Prepaid service. Visit http://spr.ly/660113OmN for more details. I just tried to activate the prepaid phone on the postpaid account. The only options Verizon is giving me is to choose a new number or to bring a number from another phone company. I don't want to do either. I want to replace a Verizon phone I'm currently using that is active with a new inactive phone. I want to keep my old Verizon phone number. What do I do?
