I have been trying to cancel our Verizon account, as we have another internet service provider. I have spent the better part of a day, sitting on hold, being told someone would help, having call dropped. Calling the number specified for cancelling an account, then being told after a while, this is not correct number (and never gave me the right number). You get the picture. What a joke. Just to do a test, I called the number for adding a line, etc. (in other words, providing more money to Verizon). Bingo, they were right on it.
