Had a nice surprise of a $430 phone bill saying I didn't ship my old phone back to Verizon. I called in and had the tracking number which showed it was received in Dallas. Guy on the phone said no problem and just pay my usual amount. He was helpful and said he didn't need tracking number as this usually takes a month for them to receive the phone. Got a call yesterday that my account was past due and needed to be paid right away. So now I just paid the $430 this month and they still say they didn't get the phone. Wonderful!!! Now I can't find the actual tracking number paper that I had so that I can pursue other actions for this. So I ended up sending a phone back to Verizon for the Edge program and they did get it and I had to pay for the phone also with nothing to show for it. Thank you Verizon!!!
This is not unusual, just annoying and frustrating beyond belief.
IT takes 3-4 months for the returned phone to be checked overall credit processed. It has to be in excellent shape or they will not credit your account.
I Thought the tracking info was on your account? You might want to double check that info and look for your tracking info just in case.
Thank you for that information. I am going to check that out to see if it is on there. Yeah the frustrating thing was the first guy I spoke to told me not to worry and that it does take a month or so. Took that charge out and had me just pay the regular bill. Now it was saying past due and got the phone call and text message that I needed to pay now for this new bill. Wish they could fix this issue. Thanks again for the help and I will start digging into this to find out what is going on.
