Hopefully, this post is a helpful warning to others, but I feel like if you're here you already know of the shady business practices.
I ordered this promotion back in July (which customer service is claiming they can't find or doesn't exist even though it's still hosted publicly on the website) by adding a line and updating another.
Ironically, I decided to do the order through one of the chat sales agents since I knew these deals were finicky with lots of conditions. They told me that I would get the BOGO 1000 off and the 350 online discount and quoted me monthly prices. It seemed like a good deal so I agreed and the sales rep made the order and charged it to my account. Here's where they get you good: They make you click a generic terms checkbox/signature saying you agree with what the agent is doing, then say the promotion will show up in 2 to 3 billing cycles, but when it doesn't customer service can just blow you off saying you signed terms even though I'm not the one that even made the order. So here I am paying double the price each month more than I was quoted by the agent.
Been many reports of this and them not honoring there promotion or trade in amounts and credit not applied etc seems to be what they want it to be
Hearing that you are not getting the promotional credits that you were expecting would upset us all. Please know we do not want any of our customers to feel that they were duped, because that is not who Verizon is. We never want any customers to have to endure anything like this. Please allow us the opportunity to look into this matter. Can you please send us a Private Message?
For anyone that may stumble upon this at a later date. I followed up with the customer support response and was told the agents information was wrong and there was nothing they could do so the point of the post still stands and sales rep accountability is still unresolved.
Another update: A customer service representative updated my unlimited plan to a more expensive option saying it would help fix the promotion but now I'm told after paying for it that it won't help. So I was conned twice on the same order. Stay far away from this company! I don't know what happened to them recently but I've never seen such shady business practices and will not be returning after the current contracts.
Those look like two different promotions intended for one phone or two with promo credits varying on which you went with. Not seeing "stackable" in the fine print.
It doesn't say if it is or isn't which is why I ordered through a sales rep whose one job it is to know. They were wrong/or lied and now I'm paying for it.
