Customer Service Extremely Slow

Three times I've tried contacting customer service regarding their "discount" for using debit cards and paperless billing. And three times now the conversation with the rep (not the waiting time to get to chat with one) has taken well over 30 minutes for a simple question. What the heck? We've been customers of Verizon since long before it was Verizon, but I'm getting sick and tired of the shoddy customer service and doubling dealing by their third-party vendors.

The issue revolves around a promised $50 statement credit for switching to paperless billing and using a debit card or checking account, but that doesn't seem to be true. My wife and I were told this by the Salt Lake City third-party store, but we've yet to see this "credit", or any credit for that matter.
