I've been a Verizon customer 23+ years. I needed to get a new phone since my Motorola Moto stopped taking a charge. I went to the Verizon store and looked at the options on display. I was already interested in getting a Google pixel phone and it just so happened that there was a promotion on one of the pixel phones. It was a $400 discount making the monthly payments around $25. I informed the gal helping me that I would like to get this phone. She excused herself and went to the back. When she came out she told me that they could not honor that sale anymore sincerity was never updated from the new year. She said that sale ended on the 1st of the month. Today is the 2nd. I asked if they could honor it anyway and she said there's "no way". I walked out. I'm so irritated after being such a loyal customer that Verizon won't honor a sale tag from yesterday. It's absolutely ridiculous. Get your cr@p together Verizon and update your sale prices if you can't honor them.
It doesn't matter if your tenure is a month or 25 years, sales do not care about that. So you missed one, you'll catch the next one!
Of all the Android phones, Pixels go on sale all the time. Wait till around Valentines day for it to be on sale again.
The promotion might have also require you to add a new line to qualify for the $400 off Google Pixel 4.
As it is, you could have checked the current promotions to see exactly what is being offered for your preferred phone. At the time of my writing this, the current promotion has the Pixel 4 $300 off for the upgrade. Plus an additional discount if you add a new line and add a second Pixel for up to $800 off the second phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Thank you for over 23 years of loyalty, gravelgrazer. It worries us to hear your device is no longer charging, and that the promotions for the Google Pixel were not updated at our store. We do apologize for this occurance, and we want to do everything in our hands to help. What is the model of your Motorola device? Is your device free of physical or liquid damage? DavidR_VZW
When I called customer service about overage, I talked to a guy named Spencer. He told me all about how much money I would save going with unlimited! I told him I needed a new phone if I did that. He told me it wasn't a promotion then, but would be before the holidays! Nope, haven't heard a thing Spencer! What a bunch of liers!
