Data Usage Error

How is it possible that I was on airplane, turn on airplane mode and data usage shows 1GB!!!

My boarding time was 05:20 flight was on 06:00 - 07:18 pm

This is definitely unusual akingo14, and we would like to look into this. Could you tell us how are you checking your data usage? Is this reflecting on your My Verizon app?

Yes it is. I checked on both Verizon app and website. I’m not sure why it shows unusual usage sometimes when I use wifi.

To clarify, is this happening when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and you check your usage? Or it's reading the Wi-Fi usage as your data being used?

Sorry, I meat to say I was using wifi at home, but when I check that time frame it show unusual usage. Also, my first post is that Verizon app shows 1GB-ish usage when I was on the flight...
