Device Payment Plan

Extremely frustrated with Verizon right now. My husband and I have been with them for 7 years now, and love to upgrade our phones, so we have spent a good amount of money.  My husband and I are wanting to go back to Apple as they have the yearly upgrade plan.. My husband paid off his device today and upgraded to the Iphone12 Pro Max. This afternoon after I paid off my device I tried to upgrade to the Iphon12 Pro, and it is telling me that I have to pay almost $600 of the phone and that's with a device credit of $440 because we are apparently at our financing max! This is extremely frustrating as we have paid off so many phones with them already and spend a lot of money with Verizon as we buy all of our tablets and watches through them! You would figure that as any good phone is $1,000 at the minimum now they would factor that into the financing amount. If I were to got to ATT they would pay off all of our current devices and let us get whatever new phones we would like. I was also going to get an Apple watch to go with my new Iphone, which would result in Verizon getting more money but it looks like they aren't wanting me to be able to do that.

I don’t know where you got the idea that AT&T would pay off your devices, they do not have any such offer at this time.

The only offer they have is a trade-in deal which would give you $700 or $800 divided into installment credits over 36 months toward the purchase of a new device.   That means you would still have to pay off 100% of what owe Verizon on your phones to switch.
