I just switched from Sprint to Verizon and I am disappointed that my 19% discount is not off my total bill but just off the base monthly charge of $80, meaning my total discount off my $192 bill is only $15! I was paying $30 less with sprint not including my discount and $60 with my discount! Why is the discount not taken off the total monthly bill? I feel scammed because I am paying more for switching companies, I want to go back to Sprint...
The 19% is off your monthly package (however much data you have) and not the total that's correct. This is because there are other discounts/promotions that can effect the cost of the line access instead. Only customer service would be able to fully figure out what other options they can find for you. Otherwise, you do have 14 days from when you started with Verizon to reverse everything and go back to Sprint if that's what you really wanted to do.
We certainly do not want you to feel scammed, Halina. That is not the sort of welcome we want you to experience. We absolutely do not want to see you leave us already.
As emerald_eyez mentioned, the employer discount is deducted from the data plan and not the total bill.
