I'm supposed to get a 15% discount off of Verizon through my employer. However, I cannot find anything on my paper bill or online account that shows that I am actively receiving the said discount. Online it says my employment was confirmed in November for my monthly service fee discount on eligible plans and features. So where can I see how much the employee discount is taking off of my bill or if it's not even being applied right now?
I was told all about the employee discount as part as the selling pitch. We turned in the appropriate paperwork when we ported over to Verizon. Come to find out we are on the Edge plan and were then told this plan does not qualify. This was yet another example of the information we were initially given that is false. Hope you get yours worked out.
If your on one of the promotional single line plans, your discount wouldn't apply to that. On the MORE Everything plan, you would get a discount on the plan pricing with an employee discount. Do you know what plan your on?
We are on the More Everything Plan paying for the phones through an Edge agreement. We have been told two entirely different things so I have no idea if in fact the employee discount could be applied. Confused...
What is your EXACT plan? How much data do you get?
The Monthly Account Access Fees, the portion of the fee that applies to all lines, on MORE Everything plans are discountable if it’s $34.99 or higher. Monthly Line Access Fees, the portion of the fees that are assigned to each individual line, are not eligible for discounts.
If you've received a notification that your submission was validated, there are several places to view your discount in My Verizon.
Unlimited talk and text with 1 GB of data. I didn't get Edge or anything it's just a basic 2 year-plan as far as I know.
The discount isn't that big of a deal to me but it was kind of rude to be told that the discount would apply by the employee in the Verizon store when I signed up around Thanksgiving of last year.
Are you on a regular plan or a single line plan? Single line plans already get a discount that's why you don't get an employee discount.
A regular More Everything plan with 1 GB would have been $80 a month when you signed up. Your 15% discount would have applied to the $40 data fee. So that would have been $6 so your total cost would have been $74. The single line plan with 1 GB so $60. So obviously it's cheaper because it's already discounted. So no you can't get 2 discounts.
