I tried upgrading to the Galaxy Fold 3 with a trade in via the Samsung website. I selected the Verizon variant. The order went thru, then a couple of days later I got an email stating "Your orderand activation cannot be completed by your carrier and have been cancelled. For more information, please contact your carrier. To purchase your phone now visit Samsung.com and select a different payment method." Called Verizon and they gave me some numbers (transaction# & application#) saying that I should contact Samsung presumably to resolve it. Samsung said it is a problem that often happens with Verizon. The numbers did not help and I was told to wait a week for the full cancellation to show up on Verizon's end. The phone in question was originally supposed to have arrived today. 😞
The upgrade shows as used on my phone line now though along with a new device agreement on my old phone which shows me now "owing" $1000 device agreement over 30 months.
Why can't Verizon clear this so I can resubmit an order? I've been a customer for the past 20 years
