***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. On the afternoon of Monday 12/5, all users will be able to log into the new Verizon Community. We expect the new Community to be fully functional the morning of Friday 12/9. Horrible Customer Service

Verizon needs to improve customer service. My mom lost her phone and try to put a hold on the account. After an hour of dealing with the clerk, he told us he froze the account. He did not do it. We had to drive to a store and wait another hour to be seen. We didn't get any help from them either. We had to move heaven and earth to get them to freeze the account. I'm so tempted to change carriers after this experience. Whatever happened to customer service? Verizon is horrible.

That's horrible.  If it's android we're you able to track it with Google find my device?  It will ring your device for 5min even on silent and it maps the location pretty good.

It was an iPhone.  We were able to locate it. My issue was that they wouldn't freeze the phone account.

Could you not log in to the account from a computer and suspended it yourself?  Never had to do it to know.
