Had my first horrible experience with customer service today. I’ve had two lines with Verizon for over 15 years. Been loyal to the company and bought phone after phone through them. I’m looking to upgrade two phones that are well out of contract and get the run around from customer support
the first person I talked to “Gayle” told me that I did qualify for the BOGO offer even though it was two existing lines. I asked numerous times if she was sure because I was getting the error messages. She told me that I would be fine and transferred me to someone who immediately said no.
I then get transferred to Retention Team which “accidentally disconnected” me and when I call back they are closed.
Meanwhile AT&T has a bogo offer and additional promotions to go with it for FirstNet.
rather not leave Verizon but with nothing to offer loyal customers it might be time.
