Hotspot Data Usage - Billing

Is there a delay or lag between using hotspot data and it being reported on MyVerizon?  When I first started using hotspot data on my phone, I was told by a Verizon Employee that there could be a delay of 24-48 hours;   a short while ago, I spoke to a tier-1 customer support person, and he said the delay would be/is only about 2 minutes.

Does anyone know the correct answer to that questions?  How long is the delay between using the hotspot data and having it show up in one's MyVerizon?  Thanks for any help with this!

I know that getting conflicting information is never helpful, DMatthews1. I know that I too would be seeking some clarification. The truth is that usage reporting is as close to real time as possible. There can be some delays, and there isn't a set period of time when those delays can occur. Was there a specific reason you were looking into this?
