I had the worst Customer service experience in my life tonight at the Verizon in Fort Collins, Colorado. [removed], was the worlds biggest [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] and know it all. I came in because my phone wouldn't charge. I was explainng to him my situation and he just walked away, mid-Sentence and came back with a look of disinterest. I kept thinking to myself is this happening. I then ask how do I send the phone back? You know, it's not an everyday hobby of mine. He responds to " Well, you open the box, put the phone in the box, take that sticker, slap it on the box, have you heard of UPS?? Well you take it there". My mouth is dropped at this time and I honestly want put my hands on this [removed] . While he's watching the movie that on the TV for the kids, I ask him a simple question " can sitting in the Suana ruin my phone???" He says to me " You're kidding me right? The sauna is dry, no moisture" I know me going to AT&T won't bother you guys at all. You'll lose only 1000 dollars after I take my family, big whoop right?? I called the store 5 times, finally after it kept taking me to the call center because no one was answering, the lady 3 way'd the call and explained to the guy what the situation was, they had us on hold for 10 minutes then the guy said our manager will call you right back. Of course he never called back. If I wanted to be treated like [removed] by employees I'd go hang out at McDonald'. Look at the feedback on social media of this store and the lack of giving a [removed]. I get it, they deal with a lot of stuff and hard people, but if your staff can't handle it then get out of retail. I'm offended and feel so disrespected and Verizon Wireless doesn't give a [removed]. I'll pay for my phone but I will not stick with a company who doesn't give a [removed].Verizon Wireless Customer Support who do I talk to who will actually listen to how inappropriate my situation was.
Sounds typical. I just had a horrible experience at the Williamstown, NJ store. After 17 years, in addition to managing a 450 employee corporate account, it is time to look elsewhere. As friends and relatives have moved away from VZW, I have held on to the "it's a better service" card. If I haven't yet earned the right to be treated with respect from their employees, then I probably never will.
Just looking at how there were at lease 7 violations of the terms of posting on this website I wonder how the store employee was talked to. You cannot attract flies with vinegar.
