How do I properly deactivate a Verizon Prepaid Account?

I upgraded to a new phone & new Verizon plan not associated with my Verizon prepaid plan. My family member set it up for me on their Verizon account without first seeing if I would be able to carry over my old Verizon prepaid phone number to my newer post paid plan. Keeping the same number that I had before would have been great but in the end I have to close my prepaid account down because I can't afford 2 separate accounts.

As far a Disconnecting your Prepaid account, you will simple need to make sure Autopay is disabled and stop replenishing your account. To cancel a Prepaid number all you have to do is not replenish it for greater then 60 days JordanL_VZW
