***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. How do I remove a phone line from a family plan?

I tried 

  • Calling the phone number 1-800-922-0204 twice, both times the wait time was over a half hour
  • The more recent phone call resulted in a "technical issue" and hung up on me
  • Online chat support would only provide the same phone number
  • On trying to schedule a call appointment, the required reasons dropboxes do not include removal of a phone line
  • On trying to schedule a call appointment, the form will only allow you to proceed if Billing or Device is selected, any other selection prevents you from scheduling and completing the request
