How do I remove one of my lines?

I want to know how  i reduce the number of lines on my data plan because  i no longer have a use for second line and need to cut cost

Is the second line out of contract? If not you will pay early termination fee.

You must call Customer Service at (800) 392-0717 to disconnect a line. (Mon – Fri, 7 AM - 9 PM, Sat – Sun, 8 AM – 9 PM local time).

i have been on hold 35 min verizon dont  want you to remove line
