Okay, I'm like about to pull out my hair.
I want to set up my personal hotspot.
I have an iPhone 5
You go to settings > cellular > click on setup personal hot spot
It then gives you three choices:
Okay so I tried calling and they were unhelpful. I tried going to the website but it just directs you to the home website. I looked and looked and clicked on like every link possible and I couldn't find anything to add a personal hot spot to my plan or whatever I need to do.
Please. For the love of god. Please someone help me.

bonk70, I use my phone all the time at home and I would be lost if my phone would not connect to the network. I am here to help and we will get to the bottom of this. Are you referring to a home WiFi network or our cellular network? Are you able to connect in other places? SantoC_VZW
Here is the reason why it does not work.
Verizon wants you to upgrade your plan in order to enable it on your phone. If you don't upgrade you are not able to use it. Even if you have let's say 5 GIGs on your data plan left, it won't allow you to use it. I had an older plan with 5 GIGs and was paying 60. I moved it to a newer plan that cost 80$, but if I use paperless and autopay they discounted 10 dollars off. Great right! No, they removed the option for me to use even 5 Gigs as a personal hotspot. Now I have to upgrade to another 80 dollar plan, but guess what, even if I have autopay and paperless billing, on this new plan, they don't discount the 10 dollars. So at the end, Verizon squeezes more money out of you. I'm thinking about increasing again to the new 80 dollar plan, but remove paperless billing(so that way they pay for the stamp) and also remove autopay, since I don't get a discount any longer. Verizon is a squeeze all your money with fees and stupid charges. Thinking about moving to T-Mobile.
