How do I view numbers that I have texted from my prepaid phone?

I used t be able to go under usage and see numbers that I texted or go into the online messaging app and it was usually behind so I could find the number that way. Now my usage only shows outgoing sms but no number. I accidentally deleted a number i need. Can anyone help me?! This is super frustrating that only recently I haven't been able to do this.

I have the Verizon small plan pay month to month and I can look at usage and all the texting information on numbers both incoming and outgoing are listed.  Maybe this information is not available on prepaid phones.  Did you change plans recently?

Keeping your contacts in order is vital. How long ago did this start?

These messages and number will not be contained in My Verizon, however, will remain on the device until removed.

Yes... this “Upgrade “ is terrible.
I was told by a Verizon Rep that it was done in response to feedback.
I rely on this feature as well and not only is the to/from gone, so is the time of day on both phone and message logs.

Leave feedback for Verizon to bring it back.

As this has caused an inconvenience, we apologize. All operating systems allow a contact to be saved form a text message, so they are conveniently stored there, and in any back-up services you may also use, like Verizon Cloud.
