I was wondering if it is possible to make a downpayment on a new iPhone 7.
After I select the options I want, and get to the checkout page, I see nothing that lets me make a down payment.
I've called Verizon, and they said there was a way.
So how do you do it?

I'm speaking with a Verizon representative online right now and am told there is no longer an option to add any additional down payment for devices during the checkout process. I hope Verizon can update this answer if that is true.
madicaleb, having a down-payment on your device is a great way to lower the monthly cost of the installment! At this time, down payments cannot be paid online when checking out. A voluntary down payment can be paid when purchasing a device over the phone or at a local store. Does this information help? EricaG_VZW
I was able to make a downpayment online, but I had to chat with a representative, who recreated the order and included a downpayment. It took a while, but the representative was very helpful and eventually got it done.
