Be loyal to yourself, not a wireless carrier.
Promotions are a marketing tool with the intent to drive people to a certain action. This particular promotions intent is to get people to upgrade and to be on the higher end plans. It has nothing to do with "loyalty" and everything to do with getting customers on the plan they are attempting to drive traffic to. The sooner you understand that "loyalty" isn't the point the sooner you'll be able to accept that you're not loyal if you're paying for a service that you're receiving.
I totally agree being a loyal customer should count. I'm loyal to myself and that's a silly reply. When we are loyal customers. And I was self employed for many years. In the auto industry Ur regular dealerships would receive a ten percent discount monthly. Why wouldn't a loyal customer of verizons get a discount of some kind. They worry and spend alot of money. They hv to admit that. Alot of money to get new customers. Why would anyone hv to do this type of promotions if a customer was very happy and always treated fare. A fare price with an excellent service. Which Verizon has. They shouldn't use these tactics but use that money to keep those customers. Being in business. Small business but I had atleast a 90% or even higher return of the same customers over and over. If someone is extremely happy with a service why would they even bother switching. I hv earned more money with repeat customers than ever when I was self employed. They (u. Verizon needs to change Ur thinking ) with my strategy. U would increase Ur customer loyalty with a rise in cancelations. And u also would increase Ur new customers from the oldest advertising there is. Word of mouth. Everybody is tired of the games. Anyone could use this method In any business and would realize I'm not only correct. I'm brilliant. Wake up Verizon. I'm just a happy customer but could be even happier and advertising for u with a social media at my finger tips. Sincerely urs. 8'). Me. And BTW. I got on here just to check my bill. I paid it the other day yet it has not been payed. Why I will find out and also paid my Morgage but that hasn't been paid either. Woke up. And for the first time since I've had this awesome Motorola Max .it was locked up. Not fully charged and had to turn it off. Turned on and everything was fine .I hv verizons protection plan and I want to discuss this too. I see u now want a late fee. Hmmmm and grrrrrrr. Exactly what I'm talking about. Keep Ur customers happy and take care of them. Don't spend all this money to get new customers. It's that easy. I need to be o. The board of directors.
With a decrease in cancelations. My bad. It happens and I'm human. Hahaha love life and a Happy man. But I truly believe in what I wrote. And diagree with Ur strategies.
The promotion that you're referring to isn't geared only towards new customers for one. "Loyal" customers (which if I believed in the label would apply to me since I've been a customer for 15+ years) can get the same promotion IF they do the things necessary to qualify. Get a new device on payment plan and upgrade to either XXL or XL plan. So it doesn't alienate "loyal" customers at all. Not to mention, Verizon offering a promotion is no different than any other carrier (or any other company for that matter) so you would be hard pressed to find a carrier that wouldn't offend you and your loyalty because they offer promotions that require certain acts in order for a customer to be eligible for them. Repeat customers are always something a company wants but you can't think that a company isn't ALWAYS looking to add new customers to their roster. You can't have a repeat customer without them first being a new customer.
At any rate...you can get this promotion and many others that Verizon runs throughout the year. You just have to meet the eligibility. The only ones you would be excluded from are ones that are limited to new customers only...which isn't the case with this current promotion.
I too am a long time customer. And grandfathered in .I hv unlimited data. I just didn't agree with Ur reply. She wanted the free 25/gigs. If that is available to her and as a long time.e customer she should get it. I dont need it being grandfathered in. Unlimited.
Ps. Just trying to be helpful. U hv a Wonderful night and a Merry Christmas. Jim 8')
It's available to her if she qualifies for the promotion. It doesn't require being a loyal or long time customer. It requires an upgrade with device payment plan and one of the eligible plans. Nothing to do with getting new customers but getting customers on the higher plans and with device payments.
Same to you.
