Seems like my son got hit with the same issue on gift cards. He purchased 7x$100 gift cards and all are bad. How do we get them activated? Seems like customer service is a waste of time.
CS is only a waste of time because they have nothing to do with gift cards, it would be a long hold for nothing.
Typically cards have their own number to contact on them if there is a problem.
Drteagle, I am saddened to read that this happened to you. I would like to second what Tigerstep mentioned. Gift Cards have a Support Number on the back of the cards as we do not have a way to track the cards. Have you revisited the location of which they were purchased? Do you still have the receipts for the cards?
We never want our customers to have issues with gift cards. Depending on the situation, our customer service team can research gift card issues for device promotions.
