I would like to get a transcript copy of some recent Live Chat conversations I've had. Is that possible? I've got the Conversation IDs. In the past the chat feature used to allow you to e-mail a copy to yourself (and maybe even save it to PDF), but that feature has been removed. During the chat's I've asked for a transcript and was told that they were not able to provide those. Instead I was given the conversation ID. I asked how I could use that to get a copy of the transcript and said that I couldn't but that was the conversation ID that another agent could use to pull up the transcript. While that is great for you, I would like to have a copy for myself in order to "keep Verizon honest". This is a basic feature of online chats that basically everyone has, including Verizon until recently.
Is it possible to get a copy of these transcripts, or am I stuck relying on Verizon.
mbrittb00 I'm not sure if you can still be a transcript of a conversation that has already ended. The request should be made by you at the end (when the option appears). However, you can call and check, the number is 800.922.0204.-Dolores
I did make such a request and was told there was no way for me to get a copy of the transcript. Additionally at no point was there an option to have said transcript e-mailed to me (like there used to be).
