They are a bunch of liars who will leave you high and dry when you need help! Was told that I had $600 credit coming my way PER EXCHANGE when I did exchanges for my line and another family member’s line (so, two phones, 600x2=$1200). We paid the rest of the upgrade for both phones in full, minus what we were promised we would be getting for returns (600$ per phone, paid up front, with 600$ per phone covered by exchange values of our old phones)
We noticed our bill was going up every month, and inquired as to why. Turns out Verizon “lost” our returns, and we never got credit for them. That means that the $600 credit x2 that we were PROMISED was a LIE, and we’ve been paying for the other half of both phones (which we were promised the exchange value would cover) since DECEMBER. When I tried to file a claim, a representative told me that he would contact me after talking to his supervisor. He has not contacted me; and I have contacted him multiple times, basically pleading for updates and help. He is not the first but SECOND representative to give me false hope and not help me in the end, leaving me with a high bill and no resolution. Verizon, you’d better fix this ASAP.

The point is that they are refusing to give us trade in value, a trade in value that was necessary in our decision to upgrade. Had we know we would be scammed out of trade in value, we never would have upgraded. It isn’t being stretched out over time, because they haven’t given it to us and whenever we try to open a case we are lead to a dead end and basically ghosted by whoever helped us.
The people in the Verizon stores are sneaky and don't explain what they are offering you for a reason.
I went for a spam problem and was told they had a promotion for a newer version of my phone. I agreed to it. I wanted to buy the phone outright, they were fine with that.
The printer conveniently didn't work so I could read the contract. They sent me a PDF which I printed out at Staples. It has that the discount I got was "financed," and I don't own the phone after all. Supposedly we will get credit but I suspect it's a lie like all the other things they claim.
I came in for a spam problem but they told me I would have to call tech support, they didn't do that, or help with the app that I could no longer access.
They sell stuff, it's your own problem after that.
Amazing how packages that are fully tracked get "lost in transit", isn't it?
Why Verizon ships via UPS is beyond all reason. In my experience, the USPS is far superior to UPS, and FedEx is reliable as well.
UPS has really fallen off the deep end and offers poor customer service.
This is not the experience we want you to have when upgrading rasadot123. I'm sorry your phones were lost and that its taking this long to provide you with a resolution. That's a large amount and we know its upsetting to lose out on a promotion. We don't want to lose you because your business is important to us. Did we submit an investigation to search for your devices? Was there an investigation completed with the shipping company? Lets get this issue resolved so that you're able to enjoy our service and remain a happy customer.
That hurts to hear. You always deserve world-class support. We certainly want to help and turn this experience around. We will send you a private message so that we can gather more details and better assist.
