Mistake by Verizon

Traded two Samsung S8's for two Samsung S21, and the representative defaulted to 30-month payment plans instead of 24, and now I can't get it corrected back to 24 easily because there is a $650 trade-in attached to the purchase.  A corporate store is stating that the trade-in promotion might take 2-3 months to be reapplied, this is unacceptable.  I want someone at Verizon Wireless to take ownership of this mistake @vzwleadership.  I don't want 30-month payments and credits.  I have already spent 4+ hours and a trip to the corporate store to fix this.
