I really don't mind having the Security and Privacy app and I really don't mind having it scan updated apps and new apps and giving me a message saying no threats are found.. I've made peace with it, but I swear to god, this past week I have been inundated with at least a dozen notifications a day just telling me the app is protecting my phone and asking me if I have other devices I need to protect.. Seriously people, is this really necessary? I tried change the notification setting in the app and there are no options for this and then I tried blocking them using the notification settings on the phone and thought I beat it, I even had a small gathering of people at desk in my office to celebrate; However, lo and behold and much to my chagrin they are back today!!!
If this continues I am going to uninstall the app and if I can't do that I will switch to T-Mobile.. I will do it, I mean it this time... in all seriousness though, did this thing just get an update? I don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden.

I'm sorry to hear you're getting so many notifications, as that is definitely unusual to see. We wouldn't want to see you go either over something like this either, especially if there is something happening with the app itself. Do you recall when exactly this had started? When you have the app open, do you see a blue bar asking about protecting more devices? When you tap on Menu > Settings > Security Scan, what is on/active under Notifications?

I have the same problem. Please help disable this "advisement" so annoying, so is the UI letting me know I have a "slow charging". With this and the recent battery management issues, this phone is useless if not plugged into the wall.
