For the last few months I have gotten the following error every time I launch My Verizon. I get: "Sorry our system is unavailable at the moment."
I am using a Galaxy Note 10+.
The app is up-to-date and cannot be uninstalled (that I can see, no option for it) and reinstalled.
When I try the "give feedback" option and select the "feedback for app" option and click Next, nothing happens.
I have gotten 2 or so updates since then to my OS but no change in the App, and have been unable to claim UP Rewards, and I'm starting to get very annoyed.
I would like access to the My Verizon App to monitor my account, UP Rewards, etc. I also want to know if I can claim those missed rewards due to the My Verizon app malfunctioning.
daveyp,we are concerned to hear you are having issues access your Verizon Up Rewards. While, the rewards are only available through the app, are you able to access your My Verizon account at all online via the website?
Yes I can access via a computer, it is just more cumbersome when I get text charges like I have been and shouldn't have (in addition to not being able to get Up Rewards).
My app doesn't have an issue and I'm running an unlocked S20. You can only claim current month rewards, not any months missed. I wouldn't sweat it over $3 gift cards.
And if it happens for 3 years, that's $108 in gift cards, plus missed opportunities for tickets to events etc. Besides, sometimes a comped $3 coffee can change the mood of the day.
While it's great to know that you are able to access My Verizon via computer, what do you mean by text charges? I ask because all of our calling plans that include text messaging would not have any charges for domestic use, and definitely no charges for texts that come from Verizon about your account. With older plans that had text bundles, or per-use charges, we still did not charge for anything that comes from us regarding your account. What exactly do you mean by these text charges? We certainly want you to be able to get the rewards that are available to you every month. What is the make and model of the device? Is the Verizon app up to date?
