I contacted them first. They have no idea how to fix it. They did however delete the "phone number " registration and created a temp passwd. Which was good until I changed it. Funny thing is, I logged in and change the passwd, then had to fill in the registration. I got into the portal that time. Looked around and showed her how much easier it was to read then the app. We are get some years on us. Want to use it as a mobile phone not a mobile desktop.
Logged out! whoops!!! No more access to the web portal. Same thing "My Verizon is temporarily unavailable". So I tried forgot passwd. It texted a temp passwd message to the phone. Guess what? No temp passwd. I tried to get a temp pswd with the mobile number. Guess what it said! Sorry that number is not registered. Please register now. So I did, guess what it said this time. Yep! number was already registered. Please login.
I am having same issue. I’ve been unable to make any account changes, upgrade or change any phone, I had to go via Apple to get a new phone and when I tried to activate couldn’t be done. I took it in to Verizon, had tech from both Verizon and Apple finally being upgraded to tier 3 support, and no one can tell me what’s wrong. At first it was tech coach going offline, then Verizon app. Then the web refused me access on my phone completely having to change password almost every time I logged in. I used 5 different browsers on my phone, then finally.. my laptop also started preventing me.
My son also has Verizon, he doesn’t have any of the issues reported here. I was told it’s “profile specific”? Lol what kinda junk explanation is that?!
I’ve been a Verizon customer for quite some time (I believe 15 years), and have owned Apple since they were only iPod.. this last 9 months has been a nightmare with you guys. It’s the only time I’ve ever considered AT&T.. yeah.. I said it.. that’s how bad it is lol
PLEASE let me know when you get it figured out. I’m willing to bet you have more customers affected that can’t get in to be listed as affected.
