Since I made a commitment to Verizon 7 years ago, anticipating them to be my family's service provider for as long as they are around, I have spent nearly $17,000 on the service, not counting new devices.
Let it sink in - $17,000.
With decades of life left in me, this would have translated into hundreds of thousands more for years to come.
All was thrown away by a careless customer representative who failed to come to an agreeable solution and accepted my cancellation over a $300 dispute.
They saved Verizon $300 by losing thousands.
This simply tells me we are all disposable. It's a revolving door. I am a drop in a bucket in the sea of millions of Verizon users. "Next!.. " Which is unfortunate.
Hope to have a better luck with AT&T. Hear their service is better than Verizon's, so they just may have those decades of my business.
