I need a receipt for a phone purchase on my account from almost 3 years ago, to submit for a squaretrade warranty claim. But so far I have been unable to get that on the website documents and receipts (only go back 1 year) nor by calling customer support. It seems crazy to me that a cell phone company as big as Verizon, who encourages us to cut paper and go digital, does not have more history available than they do - digital storage for the small size of such documents would be CHEAP. I would presume that VZW has archives of older receipts and purchases as well as older bills, for legal purposes if nothing else, but so far I have not been able to talk to the right support person to get what I need. Very frustrating! Come on Verizon please help your customers who have gone paperless - we should not be penalized for not getting paper copies of our bills and documents.
