So I have an issue with network connectivity while I'm inside a building. I've called and talked to tech coaches and tier 2 tech coaches but I keep getting told there's nothing they can do but frankly I don't think they're understanding my issue. My issue is that other carriers work perfectly on LTE in the building but Verizon rarely even gets a couple bars of 3g so shouldn't my phone basically roam into whatever tower the other carrier is using to get the best signal possible? I'm thinking about going in to the store to see if they can help but I'm expecting the same results. I have multiple lines with unlimited data but I can't even use my data so this is extremely frustrating. I've had this issue for a long time but this issue got old already. If the issue is not resolved then I might as well switch to a carrier that does work inside the building. Outside the building there's no network issues whatsoever. If I was to switch carriers what would happen to the phones I have? Since I'm still on payments for them and got them recently?
No your phone isn't going to roam on another carrier if you're getting a signal. If you leave for another carrier your phones will have to be paid in full. And in full meaning the regualr price. Not any discount you may have gotten for getting monthly payments.
You don't tell us what phone you have. That info might help. Also the building might have a DAS set up for other carreirs and that's why they get signal. Or perhaps the Verizon tower is further away to that building than the towers for the other carreirs
