I just paid my bill June 27th. I normally have excellent in my neighborhood but no matter what I do I have no bars and apparently my phone does not support wifi calling.
Why do I have no service when I JUST paid my bill a few days ago? That is when it's due so it's not like I lapsed. I had fine service this morning and all of a sudden for the last 2 hours I have none. I did all the troubleshooting and nothing.
I definitely appreciate you getting things paid recently. If things were paid, that is very unlikely to be the issue. Usually things happening due to a payment issue wouldn't cause the bars to go away anyway. It sounds more like a network or device issue. Do you know if any others in your area are having similar issues? What are the zip code and nearest cross streets to where you are having that issue?
Zip code is 32526 and I don't know of anyone else in my area that has Verizon so I don't know. All I know is I cannot receive text or calls and I cannot make texts or calls. I have reset my phone several times and I can't even call tech support for help.
Cross streets Lanett Dr and Vestavia Ln
You can do text messages from your wi-fi at home, but there phone servive is still down here in Ca. 95624 IDK where you are at, but I have been told by Verizon Chat Reps since 7/4/21 at 8 am PST that Verizon has had an across the US outage in alot of areas. As of today 7/5/21 at 6 30 am PST, My phone still says no sim card searching for SVC, and I have done all the tricks to troubleshoot it My phone is a Kyocera Flip Phone I can text out and receive texts with my home wi-fi. Hope that helps some. CM60
Thank you for those details, they're helpful. I'm not showing any reported issues in 32526 right now, but we can keep going and gather some more information. Tell me, what is the make and model of your phone? Does it improve if you step outside briefly? Please let me know, thanks again.
I am in 59102, and, get dropped calls and more than 3 bars in town. In Boise , I barely got 1 bar in town. This must be Verizon's way to get people to buy into 5G. I get the same on multiple devices. Verizon needs to know that they work for us. We don't work for them. When you pay over $300 for a phone, we need to go back to land lines. What is a phone for?
Having reliable service is critical, Pulsater! Please tell us when this started happening, and are you traveling between towns right now, or are you still in Boise?
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. A network disruption was detected in NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV area on 07/08/2021 09:57 AM, Eastern TZ affecting Data, Voice, and Text services. We're working to resolve the issue, which could take up to 12 - 14 hrs. TaylorH_VZW
