I can't call my house from the street. Inside we use wifi assist and can call anyone else on the planet. If I'm walking the dog on the sidewalk behind the house and have an emergency I can't call anyone. We have been struggling with this since we moved here. The HOA has numerous complaints that there is no Verizon service. I have been told everything from, "we will tweak our tower position to I need to buy a signal extender". There is no tower here. I'd like to keep the service but I don't think it's going to be possible. I think for as many dropped and non-connected calls, you owe me money. I'm out of patience and don't like being told it's my fault for signal issues inside. This is outside.
No, Verizon does not owe you any money. You should have gone with a provider which provides the best service in areas you need it. No one provider will have the best coverage EVERYWHERE. You need to choose the provider which suits your needs.
Cellular service is a radio based technology and coverage is NOT guaranteed everywhere, inside or out. Placement of cellular towers are not always allowed in areas Verizon would like to place them and getting approval to erect new towers can sometimes take years to achieve.
Good afternoon to you! As a valued customer, your account's service concerns are our concerns too and we'd certainly regret losing you. Although we're glad to hear that our Free Wi-Fi Calling feature works well for you when you're inside your home (Placing and receiving calls), it saddens our team to hear that you're experiencing issues making and receiving calls while outside your home in the area you've provided the zip code for (97086). We also appreciate the details you've provided about the service issues you're experiencing. We've also noted your reference to possibly purchasing a network extender to increase your signal. Please keep in mind that the Network Extender acts like a miniature cell tower that is used while you're inside your home and/or at your workplace to increase your signal. We've also noted your reference to "There is no tower here" and that you're experiencing dropped calls and non-connected calls and that you don't like being told that it's (Service issues) your fault for signal issues inside as well as your reference to the HOA (Home Owners Association)has numerous complaints that there is no Verizon service at your location. Rest assured we'll do everything we can to provide troubleshooting assistance for you so let's work together. How long have you been experiencing service issues at your home location? Have there been any recent changes to your mobile device? (e.g. software update, new apps downloaded, etc) While our Network Bureau team is checking your zip code area, can you help our team narrow down the area where you're experiencing service issues by providing the nearest intersection so we can review the area?(But please do not provide your address here in this forum). - RobertC_VZW
