Hello. My father ordered an iPhone 6S Plus on Friday, Sept 9. The fraud protection team canceled it. Now last week, he called, verified his information with the fraud protection team, which said everything was good to go, placed an order with the telesales department for overnight delivery for Friday, Sept 16. Paid for the tax, and shipping. The order is still under processing. He really needs a new phone, and wanted it to to a arrive by his birthday this Wednesday. Also, today, I realized that there is another order on the account, for the same phone, however we did not place it or authorize it. I am contacting via his behalf because I am his daughter and account manager, since he is not really tech savvy. Why does verizon make upgrading a phone so difficult?
Sounds like the original order didn't get fully removed. Just call customer service to ensure it is fully cancelled. They make it difficult only because these are $900 phones and they have to make sure it is authorized.
Getting up to date information regarding your order is a must, IRASTA0901. Let's see what is causing the hold up with your fathers order. I have sent you a private message so we can better assist with the order. Please respond to that private message.

I ordered my Google Pixel 6 Pro on December 29th, and as of January 17 have not received it. I have followed the order on UPS tracking since the order was completed. Twice now, UPS has returned the package to the processing center in Fort Worth, TX with the message "The apartment number is either missing or incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address. / The package will be returned to the sender." I have no idea of knowing what address is on the package, other than what appears on the bill. The address is correct, but the apartment number is missing. I have called multiple times to try to get the address corrected, and have verified it on both the verizon account and in UPS mychoice. Still, the verizon representatives I've spoken to basically have said that it's up to processing to somehow intervene and re-send the package. The last tracking info i have is that my $1200 phone has just been chilling on the back delivery dock of the processing facility for like 6 days. No one can tell me where it is or when it will be delivered. This is rediculous! What can I do?

While we sure wouldn't want your phone in the wrong hands, EB0117, we definitely understand how upsetting this situation has been. We want to get the phone in your hands as soon as possible. Once received in the warehouse, it can take up to two weeks to process and check in the device. Once that is done, your line will be "clear" again allowing you to place the order. We know this is a very popular device. Have you considered ordering it online and then selecting "Pick up in store" as an option? Alternatively, you might consider putting in your apartment number directly after your last name as well as where it belongs on the address. This way, it would be on the package for sure. What are your thoughts? -George
