Overcharged for plan change

I made a change to my plan and Verizon applied the change to the prior billing cycle even though I made the change AFTER the prior billing cycle had ended.  After a lot of bad information, customer service person tried to rationalize it away saying I will be credited on my next bill and that the system charged for the new plan because it is what the next billing cycle will have, which makes no sense.  Verizon's system cant differentiate between when a plan is changed and the appropriate billing cycle?  That's scary and makes me have no faith in the accuracy of their bills.

Worst, Verizon is borrowing money from customers.  I dont know about you but I have no desire to lend money to Verizon, this should be illegal.

Can you please provide more information on exactly when you changed your plan and what are your billing cycle dates? Which billing cycle did Verizon Wireless first apply the change to?
