I recently switched from AT&T to Verizon. The switch has been fraught with challenges. For a while, the number wouldn't update (it was entered incorrectly by the agent during the transfer), and the phone activation process was tear-inducing (hours spent with multiple agents on the phone). Then, when I went to trade-in my 8, the agents could not process the label ("the system won't let me").
I am now being charged for the lack of trade-in of my 8 for the trade to the 12. I just spent another 30 minutes on the phone with an agent. Literally all I want to do is what was pitched to me by Verizon initially, which is trade-in my old 8 and receive the credit.
Never did I expect moving from AT&T to Verizon would entail this degree of agony, with "agony" defined as multiple 30-120 minute conversations with agents to try and to the most basic things.
Thank you for joining VZW, nweinst2! We always want you to have a smooth transition when switching to us. I'm so sorry to learn about any issues with your trade in, and I'm sure I can help. With a trade-in device, you would need to submit it at our trade-in page from our website. Here's a short but helpful video on how to complete a trade in: http://spr.ly/6605HSnux;
