Poor service 81328 area - sudden changes recently

Over the last several months we've had increasingly declining service with our Verizon phones in this area and the surrounding communities.  We drop calls in places we never have before, right in towns and cities.  There has been a significant change at our house, as well.  People constantly tell us they can't hear us anymore, just a few minutes into our calls.  Our next door neighbors are having the same issue.  We are not under contract and may look elsewhere for service if something doesn't change.  Verizon used to be known as having the most reliable service but that is not the case anymore.
