Hello, please help me answer these questions:

1.) Do I Need to have a Verizon credit card in order to redeem my existing device dollar balance ?

2.) Can I use the device dollars to buy (From Verizon) the phone that is Unlocked, so that it can be used on providers other than Verizon ?

Bratnikotin,

Device Dollars are probably my favorite perk when it comes to Verizon Up. I'm a device junkie so I always like to upgrade when I can, and I'd be happy to assist you with answering these questions.

To begin, the Verizon Visa Card is not required to redeem existing Device Dollars. Then in terms of using your Device Dollars, the purchases you make through Verizon to buy your device (shown here in question #3 - http://spr.ly/6609HDhAS), will allow you to use our devices on another carrier once the device is unlocked. For your convenience, here is our device unlocking policy: http://spr.ly/6600HDhAs

Let me know if this helps address your concerns today!
