I recently fell behind on payment due to financial crises. I finally am able to continue paying for services. Unfortunately before i fell behind on payment I entered into a payment plan on a new phone. SO when I went to reinstate my services I was told that I would have to pay for the phone in full plus the payment I had missed. When I asked the customer service rep about switching back to the payment plan and paying any fees in order to reinstate my services he said it was impossible. I find it hard to believe that there is no alternative to this situation. I cannot currently pay off the phone in its entirety but I could easily revert back to the plan i was currently on. ANY advice on how to resolve this would be amazing and much appreciated!!!
Don't ask a store rep about something like this, as they have no say in this.
Do call in and inquire about reinstating the device payment plan as it sounds like it went through a forced buyout/accelerated buyout.
Depending on how long ago this occurred, customer service might be able to resume the payment agreement.
