I purchased a "Buy one and get one free," Samsung Galaxy, and I received my rebate in a timely manner.  I use the rebate card to pay my cell phone bill, and I left my Samsung Galaxy on the payment plan.  My husband needed a new phone he canceled the "free line" by accident and he put his number instead, before six months was up, so I was charged $672.45 REBATE CARD FULL AMOUNT WAS CHARGED ON MY BILL.  I paid the bill but I am still paying for SAMSUNG GALAXY AGAIN.  SOMEONE Please explain why I am paying $1,344 twice for the same phone.  Anyone else had this problem!   I was told I can use the rebate to pay my bill, and the phone is STILL on the plan, but a different number.  THESE PHONES ARE NOT FREE, and it was not explain to me that way!!!!!

I'm certainly glad to break this down for you. Extra charges would certainly be concerning to me as well.

With the buy one get one promotion you pay for both phones but get a gift card to cover the cost of one of them. You can use that to pay off the phone and thus get it for free. It sounds like in this case though you used it to pay for the bill instead though. That's okay but it can't be used for the bill and for the phone. That would be effectively getting a double credit and getting both phones free.

If something was done to alter that and cause you to not qualify for the buy one get one the amount of that gift card would be charged back to you. That's not paying double for the phone though. That means you'd be paying for the phone as you already were since you used the gift card on bills. You'd then be paying back for the bills we previously covered for that.

My line was disconnected by accident, by the store, and I do not see this clause written anywhere not even on my receipt or my agreement.   I transfer a line to that phone the salesperson should of said something that I needed to wait few more months.  My husband was due to a upgrade so why does it matter, the agreement is the same.
