You can call this a rant if you wish. Every encounter with a Verizon representative has been pointless So after researching about this morning I found these boards
I got a phone for my son and it was a buy one get one free deal in November, we went to pick it up at the retail store, and the man who was supposed to be helping us get it all set up disappeared after I told him I was not interested in buying his overpriced case and screen protector. I never saw him again in the store again. We started having issues with activating my phone and I told the management, still he was not available and nobody in the store ever came to check on me. Frost four hours I sat there wrestling with activation and restoring them back up etc. It was closing time when I finally got it working. Not a single employee helped, they were all waiting on us to finish and not helping at all.
This is the store in Murfreesboro Tennessee on Thompson Lane. Ive made this known to everyone that I could and nothing has ever been done about it. I’ve never been contacted. Yesterday I tried to order an iPad from Verizon, and I brought this issue up and was greeted with only hostility and an unwillingness to help at all. They say their customers come first, I’m sure you know the jargon as well. I did not come first the company came first in my wallet came first but not me. I did up buying a new device from Best Buy instead of Verizon and I will never buy another device from Verizon. We are currently looking to move to a new company as soon as we get these phones paid off that We were told could be paid off at no penalty after six months. Our bill has never been what the sales rep says it is going to be is always more, usually much more.
This is the worst encounter that we have had but it is only one encounter every encounter over the phone or in a chat room has been equally pointless
We really just want to pay off our devices, make sure that we can use them at a new service provider, and be done with this company that has done nothing but give us trouble.
You lost a sale on a device and now I’m ready to leave Verizon completely.
Oh no, Klora! This is certainly not the way we want you to feel, and we definitely do not want to lose your loyalty! .Our intention is to help you in the best way possible and provide the world-class customer service you deserve whether it's over chat, customer care, or at our store location. We would love the opportunity to help you in any way we can.
Keep in mind that if you purchased a phone with a BOGO offer that the monthly credits will stop once the phone is paid off. If you pay it off early then you would lose the portion of the monthly credits after that point.
This is a peer to peer public community forum and not a direct link to Customer Service. No one knows your contact information including your phone number. Of which, don't bother posting your phone number on this public forum.
The VZW rep can't call you directly until they have reached out to you via the Private Message system in the forum. They haven't offered to do that yet.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Because of COVID 19 I love your personal address I forgot to reply to this thread till now. I took a phone call from someone at Verizon and it was a waste of time. For an hour and I was like hard about how businesses operate. I’m a college graduate I know very well how this businesses operate. He did nothing to try and fix the current situation. Nor did he try to compensate me for anything. I’m still extremely disappointed with the company and that is not likely to change. I wil not recommend this company to anyone again. In fact, I’ve had several people ask me for a recommendation and I said not Verizon, I think they went to the new Spectrum cell phone coverage deal. But that’s what happens when you treat a customer poorly, they don’t send you other customers. And I highly recommend to anyone visiting to Murfreesboro store, leave immediately and go somewhere else.
