Yesterday I visited a Verizon store to purchase a new or newer IPhone. The rep helped us immediately and came back to us with his suggestions. The issue was his suggestions weren’t in the same universe as what I asked for. I’d understand if I was told that what I wanted to do wasn’t possible. The experience was like buying a car. Showing me blended numbers vs itemized so I could see where the increases were coming from. Nearly doubled my bill. Simple shifted dollars from the cost of the phone into my plan. When I asked about maybe buying an 11 vs new 12, I felt like that was a burden. Long story short I went to Best Buy, bough a new phone, added my employee discount and my bill is now less than when I started. , once the phone is paid off.
