I am asking this of Verizon staff .. can't seem to find a contact otherwise. I am presently on a plan using 8 GB for $50 plus $20 for hotspot .. if i upgrade to 10 GB the cost goes to $60 plus $20. I see you have a plan called shared data plan, believe it is monthly no contract .. it has 10G for $60. I only use my Verizon account for computer use ... would this be a better deal or would you be charging an additional $20 for the hotspot under this plan too? thanks
Using your phone as a hotspot on a shared data plan does not cost extra. If you are talking about a separate piece of equipment, i.e. a mifi, then that has an additional cost to add that piece of equipment to your plan.
